RigStack is built for creators, and creators use every kind of device, browser, and assistive technology to get their work done. We want RigStack to work for all of them.
We aim for our site and dashboard to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That means every interactive element should be reachable and operable by keyboard alone, screen readers should be able to understand and navigate the page, text should have enough contrast to read comfortably, and motion should respect your device's reduce-motion setting.
This is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checkbox. We review and fix accessibility issues as we find them, and we welcome reports from anyone who runs into a barrier.
A few tools — the Animated Overlay Generator, Thumbnail Maker, and Color Grading LUTs — render their live preview onto an HTML canvas. That preview is inherently visual: there's no way to describe a real-time animated preview to a screen reader that would actually be useful, so we haven't tried to fake accessibility here with a token text description.
What we have done: every control around those canvases — every button, slider, dropdown, and text field that configures what gets rendered — is fully labeled and keyboard-operable. The final exported file (image or video) downloads through a clearly labeled button, reachable without ever touching the canvas itself. If you use a screen reader, you can configure and export from these tools; you just won't be able to preview the visual result until you open the downloaded file.
